Atlas Edge 101

The Atlas Edge 101 is a highly accurate, easy to use, state of the art wireless alignment system.

The Atlas Edge 101 is the perfect choice for those smaller automotive shops that perform only a few alignments per week. The accuracy of the Atlas Edge 101 is on par with alignment systems costing 5 times as much. The four sensors communicate with each other and the console using the wireless communication technology ZigBee ® and I/R. The Atlas Edge 101 includes a compact wheeled cabinet with built in cable/desktop charging units.

The Atlas Edge 101 also includes a 22 inch color monitor, keyboard, CPU with alignment database, color printer. Also included are two (2) self centering four point wheel clamps (used for the main sensors and two (2) rapid clamps that are used for the target sensors. The Atlas Edge 101 delivers an easy to use wireless communication system and a “dead nut” accurate measurement system at an unbelievable price. Camera and Target Sensors: The main sensors have two cameras installed in each sensor. The target sensors have no cameras but are equipment with special targets that reflect the I/R signal. Two wheel alignment is performed by attaching the main sensors to the front wheels and hanging the target sensors from the rear wheels. Four wheel alignment is performed by (first) hanging the main sensors on the rear wheels and the target sensors on the front wheels.

Those measurements are recorded (in the computer system) and the operator then moves the main sensors to the front wheels and the target sensors to the rear wheels. Those measurements are recorded and the operator can then begin to make adjustments based upon total “4-wheel alignment” measurements. The Edge 101 provides an “8 camera” measurement system with only four cameras and delivers the same accuracy as any of the other Edge machines.
